It's been a while...

Over six months since Lily last shared any musings! She is still here, however, and planning an exciting project. 2026 will see the first of Lily Jenkins' work IN PRINT.

Yes, Lily is planning on publishing the first collection of her “quickies” and short stories later this year. Two years’ worth of writing, some never shared on Substack or TheOReads, plus more in progress… Keep your eyes peeled for further updates!

“Sit,” he instructed, pointing to the chair near the door.

She stood from the edge of the desk, her legs unsteady beneath her. He had brought her to the edge of release before pulling away, leaving her breathless and shaking, and now he stood back, his dark eyes appraising her, waiting for her to obey…

Entering his office that afternoon, she had felt the familiar anticipation, the tightening coil in her core at the thought of what may transpire behind his door. Closing the door behind her, she turned to face him. She was captivated by him, addicted to the way she felt in his presence, under his touch. Giving him her obedience gave her pleasure, and knowing he desired her, wanted her to give him pleasure, gave her a sense of empowerment that she had never experienced before.

He rose from his chair and walked from behind his desk, stalking toward her. She felt as though she were his prey as he moved, and awaiting his imminent strike sent excitement through her veins. Her breathing became shallow, quickened, and as he stood now before her, firmly hooking her chin with his finger to tilt her face upwards toward his, she sensed her skin warming with a flush.

His grey-blue eyes glinted, his growing pupils signalling his want. Taking her chin between his thumb and forefinger, he tugged gently, and instructed,

“Open for me.”
